On September 1, 2022 at 3:00 p.m., the Grabill community will celebrate construction completion of streetscape improvements along State and Main Streets in downtown Grabill as well as façade improvements by the Country Shoppes of Grabill. The Town of Grabill received U.S. HUD Community Development Block Grant funding for the streetscape project from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs as part of their partnership with the NewAllen Alliance East Allen Rural Revival Plan and the
Indiana Regional Stellar Communities Designation.

On February 17, 2022, a multi-community groundbreaking event will be held in the City of Woodburn and the Town of Grabill to celebrate the commencement of construction of downtown streetscape improvements within each of the communities.

The NewAllen Alliance is collaborating with locally owned businesses across East Allen County on the 2021 Be Local Buy Local Campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to ask the East Allen Community to support locally owned small businesses this holiday season.

At 4:30 p.m. on December 2, 2021, a ribbon cutting will be held in downtown Leo-Cedarville by the
Town of Leo-Cedarville, NewAllen Alliance, and the Leo-Cedarville Foundation. This event will celebrate several projects that were completed in 2021.

Five of East Allen’s communities have completed the installation of murals this summer and fall as part of NewAllen’s Indiana Regional Stellar Communities Designation. The region will be celebrating this accomplishment on November 3, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in downtown Monroeville at 103 South Street

The NewAllen Alliance is excited to announce that Phase 1 of the Kady Gene Cove affordable senior housing development is complete...A ribbon cutting ceremony is being held to celebrate the project on June 17th at 11:30 a.m.
